The War Memorial stands proudly at the entrance of the Army Cantonment in Dharamshala, and it is an important reminder of the sacrifices of these brave soldiers. History

This war memorial was established to commemorate those soldiers who fought to save our motherland during the Indo-Chinese War and UN Peace Operations. It is in their memory that three large black stone panels are 24 feet high.The scenery surrounding this region is enchanting and picturesque. Surrounded by pine forests, the views are simply breathtaking. 

What was the purpose of building the war memorial ?
