Tosh(Parvati Valley) Tosh is nestled at an elevation of 2400 mtrs above the sea level in the Parvati Valley near Kasol in Himachal Pradesh. Tosh is known for its snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys, waterfalls, scenic views. Tosh village is one of the most popular trekking destination in Himachal Pradesh. The total trekking distance of Tosh from Barshaini is 3 kms. Barshaini is the starting point for trekking to Tosh in Himachal Pradesh. Tosh Village is situated at a distance of 20 kms from Kasol and 3 kms from Barshaini. You can start your Tosh village trek from Kasol if you want to do long trek. Sissu Waterfall

Sissu, also known as Khwaling, is a picturesque village located on the banks of Chandra River in Lahaul Valley. At an altitude of about 3200 m, and only 6 km away from the North end of the recently opened Atal Tunnel, Sissu attracts tourists all-year long. The village is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, glacial rivers, waterfalls, and roads lined with willow and poplar trees. With a population of just over 2000 people, Sissu is also the ideal location to get a glimpse of the daily lives and the Buddhist culture and architecture of Lahaul valley. Sissu forms a base and a gateway to 3 major destinations in the Himalayas – Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti. As it is close to Manali, Sissu is also a popular day trip destination, even though Sissu deserves a stayback for a day or 2. Apart from exploring the scenic hamlet, Sissu is known for its various nature trails with stunning views over mountains and river valleys, fishing trips, trekking, camping, rock climbing and star hazing. Visitors can also take day trips to nearby destinations such as Keylong or further to Jispah. Things to do in Sissu Visit Sissu Lake:-Sissu Lake is a man made lake in Sissu valley and a popular tourist attraction. Located near the helipad, the lake overlooks the Sissu Waterfalls in Chandrabhaga River. During summers, the lake comes alive and there are a few activities like boating. You can also trek or zipline to the waterfalls. Sissu waterfall:-The Sissu waterfall or ‘Palden Lhamo dhar’ on the Chandra River, about 1 km from Sissu village ,near the helipad. There is a short trek of about 1-2 km required to reach the base of the waterfall after crossing the bridge by motorcycle or through ziplining. Visit Raja Ghepan Temple:-Lord Gyephang (Ghepan) is considered to be the presiding deity of Lahaul Valley, and this is the only temple dedicated to the deity. The temple is only for residents of Lahaul Valley and tourists are not allowed inside. Trekking:-Sissu has many trekking and hiking trails with breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, glaciers and villages. Ghepan lake is a famous trek from Sissu. Other one-day treks from Sissu include trek to Neelkanth Mahadev lake in Tappan Valley.

Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. A small picturesque saucer-shaped plateau surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, is one of the 160 places throughout the world to have been designated “Mini Switzerland”Yes, this is Khajjiar, a tiny tourist resort in Chamba about 24 kms from Dalhousie; at an altitude of 6,500 ft. above sea level. The favourable months for paragliding are months of September to November and January and June,When the weather condition are most ideal. Most of these activities are held at Khajjiar and you should definitely experience it when in the hill town.

Dainkund Trek Dalhousie

On the other hand, a trek up Dainkund Peak (in Dalhousie), which is about 2 hours long, will offer majestic views of Kailash Parbat along with the surrounding snow-covered Pir Panjal ranges. Chamba the land of lord Shiva is famous for its untouched natural beauty. The district has Dalhousie, Khajjiar, Chamba Town, Pangi and Bharamour as main tourist destinations. Bharmour is considered as the only temple of lord Dharamraj or lord Yamraj in the world. Some activities likes paragliding, Zorbing, horse riding you can avail. The magnificent monastery doubles up as a religious training centre for the Lamas, and about 300 lamas receive their education from here. 2)Chandratal Lake According to Hindu mythology, Chandratal is the place where Indra, the King of Gods, came down on his chariot to transport Yudhishthira, eldest of the five Pandavas, in his mortal form to Swarga (heaven). Locals believe that fairies visit the lake at night.
