Naddi is a charming village in the upper reaches of the Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh located in the Dharamshala region and surrounded by spectacular views of the Himalayas.

History of Naddi
In 1959, the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso along with thousands of Tibetan refugees fled Tibet and sought refuge in India. McLeod Ganj and its surrounding areas, including Naddi, have a strong connection to Tibetan culture and Buddhism. In order to establish a Tibetan settlement in McLeod Ganj and Naddi, the Indian government offered them assistance and allowed them to do so.
