Chinmaya Tapovan, which is encircled by lush forest, is situated in Sidhbari, close to the Dhauladhar Mountain range. The word “Sidhbari” refers to the residence of the masters who have attained self-realization and the Siddhas.

 Several saints and seers are reported to have lived here at one time or another and purified and self-realized everyone who came their way. They accomplished this by essentially imparting to them yoga-related techniques.

There are numerous old scriptures that attest to the existence of great saints who flourished in this place, imparting their wisdom to others, and assisting them in achieving liberation.

 This place, which Swami Chinmayananda founded, is a haven for spirituality for everyone and anybody who desires to sip the nectar of satisfaction and tranquilly.

While visiting here, one can feel utmost peace around the beautiful nature.

 The depth and life-exuding energies can be felt all the way to a person’s core here. Meditation and yoga are regularly practiced in the ashrams of Chinmaya Tapovan.
