One of Tibet’s most well-known and well-liked monasteries is Gyuto Monastery Dharamshala. Many individuals study tantric meditation at this monastery because it is well-known for it. The diverse tantric ritual arts and Buddhist philosophy are also well-known features.

 The primary disciple of the First Dalai Lama established the Gyuto monastery in the year 1474.

Red, Gold and yellow were the prominent colors. The cheerful tones of the monastery were accompanied by the calm emanating from the central statue of Buddha. The seat of the Dalai Lama is right in front of this Buddha.

 A lot of musical instruments. Gigantic gongs, bells and drums – all that was required for the singing and ceremonies of the monks. There is this one festival when all the monks – from far and near – come together for a massive ceremony.

It is located in the easily accessible town of Dharamshala, which is accessible by road, train, and air. While visiting, transportation is not a significant concern.

Since this is a monastery, there isn’t a specific time of year that is preferable. But if you want to see everything, April and May have to be the finest times to visit.
