Indrahar Pass

Indrahar Pass

An off-the-beaten-path route in Dharamshala’s forests called Indrahar Pass gives breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar Range of the Himalayas. Kangra and Chamba districts are separated by the Indrahar pass, which is situated at a height of 4,342 metres above mean sea level.

Begin your ascent from Bhagsunag or Dharamkot and proceed through deodar trees all the way to the Galu Devta Temple. The rise steepens up ahead, and oaks and rhododendrons replace other types of vegetation. Continue on a ridge until you arrive at Triund, a verdant meadow that will serve as your base camp. Resuming the Indrahar Pass journey at sunrise, continue your ascent.

When trekking from Triund to Ilaqa  explore the spectacular Lahesh Caves where you can experience the life of cave man.
